What I Do.
I make films that tell the story that you want to tell. Films that show off a project you are working on, or demonstrate a product that you make.
Whatever the project, my approach is to shoot for the edit, which means always thinking ahead of how a story will cut together in post while I am shooting. Some projects involve developing a complete script, others are more documentary and interview based. Some projects need smooth well composed imagery, others a rough, run-and-gun documentary feel. The film might be for your social media page or for showing on a big screen at a convention. Whatever the production, I like to work closely with clients to give you what you need.
I currently shoot on a Sony FX6, and own various LED lighting options, as well as a collection of microphones for wired, wireless, but always quality sound.
Use of time lapse, slow motion, good lighting, music or sound design - all of these techniques are within reach to help tell the story, but none of these tools are useful if they don’t aid the story. I like to think I have the experience to know which trick to use and when in order to make the project work. At the end of the day, nothing works better than creating a film that feels genuine and that engages the viewer.
PROJECTS 2021
How was that pandemic, huh? There were plenty of days spent streaming meetings or digital concerts, but I also made some great projects in 2021 for:
Rafto Foundation for Human Rights, RVTS, Future Proof, KODE, Vestdavit, Borealis Festival, VIZRT and more.

About Me
MY NAME IS PAUL
I grew up in Sydney, Australia, where I studied film and TV production in the mid 90’s and worked on films and TV series up until the early 2000s. Around the time that video came to the internet, I settled down in Bergen on the west coast of Norway. Here, I’ve been developing, shooting and editing projects for the arts, non-profit and government organisations as well as commercial businesses.
